When you view your image in Dropbox you should see a “Share” function. Select that and you will see a “copy link” option. That is what you paste into the forum field and change www to dl

My right clicks produce something totally different to yours (which includes 'preview'?) When I try open your right click output by copying and pasting to a new browser tab, I get this message which includes a couple of links: Error (401) It seems you don't belong here! Check out our Help Center and forums for help, or head back to home.

Is there another way of posting images without using dropbox? If you are posting a web image, you can right-click on the image ... select copy imagelink ... go back to your new post space ... select BBCode at bottom ... click in the post space where you want the image ... click on the insert image icon ... paste your link in the box ... then go back to preview (at bottom). You should see your image in the post. I use dropbox to store my images that I create from open office charts. Then my link is to my dropbox image.

I was using the free space dropbox gives to you. They seem to have withdrawn this option. They are asking me to pay an annual fee to upload a new image. I don't want to pay an annual fee to dropbox.
Is there any other way for me to publish an image from my own computer to the site?

Is there any other way for me to publish an image from my own computer to the site? Neil DropBox keeps urging me to 'upgrade' but I have ignored them. It's still working for me at this point. If you have a Google account, I understand you can use Google's 'Drive' function in much the same way. On my seniors' forum, I see postimages.org/ from time to time and the structure looks similar to DropBox and has worked seamlessly here: [a href="https://postimages.org/"][img src="https://i.postimg.cc/8PWpZP0m/senate-business.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"][/a] DropBox from my collection: [img style="max-width:100%;" alt=" " src="https://dl.dropbox.com/s/xv6ambd9gm76l55/Masks_Bomb_Shelter.jpg?dl=0"] Plucking part of the first structure out (ignoring the "https://postimages.org/" part): [img alt=" " style="max-width:100%;" src="https://i.postimg.cc/8PWpZP0m/senate-business.jpg"]

I delete older pics on a routine basis to keep under the storage threshold for a free account. Obviously, deleting a "Linked" pic from dropbox will render the pic un-viewable but it doesn't really matter for older pics.

Blust, Tried that. I can only find one image uploaded 250KB = 0.25MB. Yet it still keeps telling me I can't upload any more stuff, unless I buy their package. This is why I thought they may have changed their policy Neil

PS: I may be on a protected species list because I introduced a couple of others to DB.
