China is on the brink of a possible 1929 type stock market crash type scenario. Outside of Apple and Tesla how much exposure to China do US firms and Banks have? Contagion? Thoughts?

Still no 'Do Not Like' button. Don't forget the "I agree with you but I really hope you're wrong" button.

My S&P 500 ETF stock (SPY) is up 31% from where I bought it on May 20, 2022 as posted here. Immediately following that purchase I was at my target equity investment percentage. Now with my equity up 31%, I decided today to sell enough today to get me back down to my target equity percentage.
My reasoning is as follows. I'm basically a "buy and hold" investor with a target ratio of equity to fixed income. This is a rebalance move to bring me back to my target percentage.
I do abandon my buy/hold approach if I can see an "event" occuring which I believe will cause a market drop of 50%. I don't see anything right now. I have a list of things I am watching.
I post this here because I find if I think through my moves carefully and write them down, my outcomes are pretty good.
I'm not making any recommendations. Make your own decisions.
As I said at the beginning of this year I do expect a market fallback some time this year of 10+ percent. Trying to time 10% moves is difficult.

WSJ subscription offer $1 a week... I get their point and I hope that they are right. Drove through DFW and Houston yesterday and wow those highways are packed. Felt the impression of prosperity. Always reminds me that I do not live in a large city when I go through there. I read that some forecast DFW to be the largest metro area in the USA in several more years. Supposed to pass Chicago in a few years first.
