The most amazing thing about the San Fran mayor's U-turn is that a progressive looked at the results of a policy, found them wanting, and did something about it. 99% of the time they just plow forward and lie about the results.

It's a sad state of affairs in SF. Before the woke movement SF was my favorite city in the USA. I loved the weather, food, scenery....

One of the many urbanized areas brought to their knees by Wokeness in all its stupid-greedy-incompetent glory. Thoroughly documented videos should be accumulated and trotted out every day of the week to and beyond election day.

Russian Central Bank said that this would be a good year, and a fast rebound from sanctions. They thought they'd be sipping cognac in Kiev a year ago too. Napoleon thought Moscow would be a pushover. Shit happens. Never drink your own kool-aid.

"Shit happens. Never drink your own kool-aid." Truer worlds have never been spoken. One thing is a certainty. The longer the Russian people suffer economically and the more of their youth come home in body bags the more pressure will be put on Putin. The Russians are counting on the Chinese to fill some of the market share lost in Europe for their oil and gas to prop up their economy. However the recent stock market rout in China and their housing collapse may have a profound effect on just how much they buy from Russia. citywire.com/wealth-manager/news/pictet-loses-patience-with-chinese-stocks-saying-it-waited-long-enough/a2418730

History has shown time and time again, that when their existing rulers "lose the mandate of Heaven" (seriously screw up), the Chinese people change bosses. It is generally bloody.
