Nor an honest-to-goodness democracy. If the Germans wish to march into the Ukraine AGAIN, let THEM do it. We know Brandon owes them ... but we don't. West and East Ukraine are worse than Red States and Blue States. Since the 1930s, East Ukraine has been essentially ethnically Russian. Don't forget that the western Ukranians fought with the Nazi armies. The Russians have certainly not forgotten that little detail. The 2-hr video with Steve Bannon at the bottom is worth the listen. Time for Senator Wicker to retire. |

I don't actually think that Israel will need much help. Perhaps a few of those big bunker busters and the "deniable loan" of a few big planes to deliver them. They will probably have to be prepared to wipe out Hezbollah and Hamas (both Shia) at the same time. You won't hear any major complaints from the Sunni players as they have been at odds with the Shia for ~1400 years. It was always interesting to hear them refer to "those damn Persians"... although the armies that conquered Persia were straight out of the Arabian deserts. They've been the taskmasters ever since with a few interruptions. Of course Iran could be expected to make oil a little pricier for a while. Just from a practical point of view, I don't know how Israel allows this trend to go on for much longer. They have prevailed for 70 years by being better, smarter and quicker on the draw than those who will be their enemies forever. They cannot become surrounded or have their technological superiority eaten away. The State of Missouri is 8 times the size of Israel. They have lived by Joshua 1:9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” No bad situation can last forever. And history says it won't. I, for one, wish them well. |
