More buildings, more infrastructure, more people and most of them want to live near rivers or the sea. I have nothing against people that live in or love Florida. However, it’s no secret that it’s a hurricane magnet. Daniel Boone and his brothers explored there early on and described it as an uninhabitable swamp 😳 It is perhaps understandable that they ended up in Middle Earth. One trip down I-75 and/or the Florida Turnpike is enough to convince a logical person that they really don't want any small part of that commute.
