It is time to loudly and publicly request (demand) that CAGWers find and present the historical analogs for "a rapidly warming World" where winter weather displays all the signs of dramatic cooling. You can retrieve well-documented analogs from the 1970s (and before with less precision) which seem to show very similar events to what we are seeing now. All the usual cast of indicators were cooling (declining) during that time period ... just like now. Where are the analogs for a warming world beset by indicator collapse? Surely there are logical explanations that Joe Public can understand that do not require "MAGIC". From whence shall I expect these explanations? Shall that great deliberative body ... the US Senate ... take this up? Let the Pontificators pontificate. I'll be .....

Great study from the viewpoint of trying to determine the effect of CO2 on warming by separating out the variables which hide the answer.
I'd like to see a review by the "experts" to see if there is something which raises legitimate doubts about the findings of this study.

I did a brief search on Watts Up With That, and didn't find it. Perhaps someone should contact him. Wattsup would be a good start. I would like to trade him some data for his.
I just e-mailed him.

A question about magnetic fields.
I wonder how much weather patterns are disrupted by weakening magnetic fields? A magnetic field offers a holding pattern.
Not only is the geomagnetic field weakening, the solar polar field has been low over the last decade.
The conclusion begins: "The Sun was extraordinarily quiet during the recently complete solar cycle 24, with very low sunspot numbers, an extremely flat HCS, a reduced CME eruption rate, and a weak interplanetary magnetic field and turbulence level."

I suspect the same would apply here in Australia .... AND over the rest of the globe. Eg: Cape Otway Lighthouse

I would like to see a graph of town size against temperature change. So say 1900 to 2020 temperature change against town size log probably?
Happy new year from NZ

Happy new year from NZ When the Harbour Bridge was opened on 19th March 1932, Sydney's population was ~1,256,230 (now ~5,312,000). Observatory Hill (MAP) is beside the Southern off ramp to the bridge:
