Being an Amateur radio Operator.
I am enjoying the current sun-spot/ solar cycle, and some of the Flares and CME's have been great for conditions.
10 meters 28-29.7 Has been active both short and long path.
half the time point the antenna. makes no difference to the signals from Europe or the States.
I used to on the last peak, receive signals from the sun, well at least from the magnetosphere.
They are back and very strong. bit like the VLF signals.
These tend to drop in frequency, maybe 2 to 3KHz and then a constant tone.
after the last two days the signals are very strong.
will try and grab a waterfall FFT of the signals.
But i can listen from 24MHz up to 55MHz and still receive them.
I though they were from lightning, I can point in azimuth towards the sun and they are there, no elevation on the antennas.
any ideas.
