This is a tax ripoff.  What kind of profit will Bill & his accountants get for clear cutting and burying whole forests?  How does that bring down atmospheric CO2?  Great for wildlife too.  Not sure I believe their logic green wise ... nor their strict benevolence.

This is a new international study by scientists from Greece, the UK and Poland; it clearly shows that carbon dioxide (CO2) is not responsible for increasing global temperature:

New study: The assumed link (left graph) from human CO2 emissions (cause) to temps (effect) is spurious. Fake.
Why? Because when differencing the time series (cross-correlation) a CO2→T link disappears (right charts). Spurious correlation ≠ causation.

Barring something like a world war I fear the climate bandwagon has reached critical mass, or close to it.

By the time the bleeding obvious lack of 'boiling oceans' sinks in, those of us who remember that the world of 70 years ago was no different to today's will all be gone and silent.

The new generations will be brainwashed into a new religion where "science" is god, Gaia is holy Mary, and Jesus bro, Mammon will be be setting the standards for caring and sharing according to the gospels approved by the new renewable billionaire cardinals charge with running the joint.

The sheeple will be happy little campers, basking in the glow of knowing they are the special people who have saved the planet while never understanding from what. They'll have no reason to query the gospel as none of them will be well enough educated to even read by then.

No crystal ball required to map out the all too near future. Just read about the Dark Ages and how that was run by the alliances of the war lords, the wealthy and the church, and you'll have the whole set up nailed. HQ will be the UN not the Vatican but that will be a small tweak in the repeating history.

See? It's all there, ticking away, but the sheeple don't want to believe they're being fooled ... siiiigh.

Sorry disagree Ratty, hungry people are very pragmatic.

Look no further than Ukraine and now UK where a bit of basic logic has shown the PM that hunger is close without a path to change.

He is likely still plumbed into India and knows that there is zero interest in net zero out there and the very sobering materiality of the the UK in the CO2 space is questionable.
