I actually DO agree with that. My real point is that those who are our Republics enemies are largely leftist and rightest authoritarians among whom are some that supposedly hold religious beliefs. Mostly I think they are the types of greedy bastards (gender neutral) who sooner or later infest every economic-political system if they are not regularly weeded out. They have had a long time to embed themselves in our nest and I doubt they will leave without a fight. They likely include those from every ethnic and religious background. Evil is not a particular religion or ethnicity or party per se. It is a condition in the hearts of men and women which is emboldened by condition, success and habit. You could weed out the Jews and hardly put a dent in the swarm. The core fairly includes more than 2% because the truly evil bastards cannot survive without their armies of wannabes. Those who arrange and implement the dirty work.

??It is reported that there is an over-representation of orientals in many universities. Tight-knit families seriously pressure their kids to succeed. I am not surprised that well-connected families can place their kids in government. It has always been so. And it accumulates over tine.
Don't get me wrong. I don't doubt the existence of the "Deep State". Nor that many/most in the top slots are driven by ideology over service. A good, deep housecleaning is required if we wish to return to anything resembling the original Republic. Cut the Federal Government down to the necessary elements.
