The most recent that everyone on here experienced was the 1976 Pacific Climate Shift. For reasons poorly understood SST's in the Pacific shifted from the cooler phase we experienced during the 1960's and 1970's to the warmer phase we have experienced since. Probably the single biggest factor to the warming we have experienced since. journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/clim/22/3/2008jcli2552.1.xml

I will put here publications and data series related to abrupt climate shift. Good idea, Missouri. I often go to battle elsewhere when I see " it's happening faster now" comments.

NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center Is Forecasting Zero Sunspots From 2035 Through 2040.
Or ... have they just not got around to it yet? But I think I remember Dr Zharkova forecasting something similar.

It's still reluctant and unconvincing at this stage.

It's still reluctant and unconvincing at this stage. Nino 3.4 is drifting back down to about +1. See Tropical Tidbits Ocean Analysis. Kind of cool for a super El Nino.

Yes that is quite interesting in the wake of the hysteria about supper El Nino's and worse.
Why is Russia in Ukraine well if the INM model (I think) is correct and they have a negative view on the temperature of the mother land soon, then the Ukraine is critical to Russia's survival, even at just a risk control level.
