Well, here's the legacy of the covid stunt- insurancenewsnet.com/innarticle/excess-mortality-continuing-surge-causes-concernsIncreased mortality among young adults is so high that the industry is worried that insurers will be wiped out. 45% increase in mortality among 45 year olds in 2021 vs 2019, still 25% over today. So, the vaccines were much worse than the virus. Unless 45 year olds are all on fentanyl or suicidal. I don't think that they are. Strange that they shut the world down over their man-made virus, but the failure of their ready-made "cure" is getting zero media attention.

Here is an old (2022) timeline of the Covid "crisis", complete with shutdowns. Remembering all of this, seems to me that Trump has a lot of apologizing to do (very publicly). That is not one of his strong points, and may be a real weakness in a 2024 campaign. thehill.com/business/3478647-a-timeline-of-the-covid-19-economy/

The author, Robert Llewellyn Clancy AM is a retired Australian clinical immunologist in the field of mucosal immunology. He is known for his research and development of therapies for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, commonly known as emphysema. Clancy developed the vaccine Broncostat at the University of Newcastle in 1985. Where has all the science gone?

It's going to be a "for the greater good" decision, hold your nose and pencil that dot.

The story continues to unravel. In general, we know where this came from. It is time for payback.

In the early days of COVID I made many posts here concerning COVID’s significant negative effect on human health and the economy. But in 2022 after seeing the early numbers on the OMICRON variant, specifically, its higher transmissivity and much lower death rate, I made a post which said something like “the COVID crisis is over”.
This recent chart prepared by the Society of Actuaries shows that the MRNA vaccines and lockdowns may have had some beneficial effect but the real pandemic-killer was OMICRON.

I know there are some who believe Trump and others overreacted to COVID, but the chart also shows just how bad the Delta and other early variants were even after the massive vaccination programs and lockdowns starting in early 2021.

During the early stages of the pandemic, there was incentive to label deaths due to Covid.
That incentive dried up (funding was eliminated), and covid death toll dropped.
I won't dismiss Covid as a potentially lethal virus just as I don't dismiss other lethal viruses.
To date, neither my wife nor myself have contracted Covid. 80% of my family members also haven't contracted Covid. I have no proven reason why, only something in our genetics makes us more resistant.
The reaction, brought about because of politics rather than clear thinking, was over the top ridiculous.
The spending path, US federal government, has hastened the demise of the US. Argentina is a poster child of what can go wrong.

Useful table Duwayne. To put it in perspective, I pulled the 2020 US mortality table by age group and compared it to the highest excess mortality cohort for 3rd quarter 2021. This was the 35-44 age group at 62%. Recorded mortality for this cohort in 2020 was 325 per 100,000 population. Not to trivialize the numbers, but an increase of 62% amounts to an extra 202 persons per 100,000. Not quite as scary. If we ever get some hard stats on excess mortality due to "the vaccine" then we can compare. The life insurance industry may have comparables ... as that's their life blood. And what is with the 2023 3rd quarter numbers?

As noted in the paragraph above the chart, the numbers in the last quarter are understated and will go up as the death certificates are filed.
It’s interesting to note what happened to flu cases as the focus on reducing personal contacts because of COVID took place,
The reduction in personal contacts along with vaccinations undoubtedly reduced the actual COVID deaths although vaccinations may well have increased deaths in other categories.

In "the old days", most of us didn't even think to question the efficacy of basic vaccinations. We just assumed that they were well-tested and that our personal physicians would not prescribe them otherwise. Like everybody else in the US, I took practically all of them. My how times have changed and reputations have crumpled. We did know, however, that the government was not to be totally trusted. And they didn't surprise us. But many of the others did. This wasn't the Black Death. But seemingly, just like catastrophic climate science, it was made out to be so ... in the interest of profits. Or so is the thought with many people I know. Trust is a very fragile thing.

I think one of the biggest mistakes (intentional?) with respect to the MRNA vaccines was that the government did not require the vaccine companies to closely follow for a lengthy period of time and report on the health of those in the original study group who were the basis for the original approvals.

Duwayne ... do you know what the new outbreak for the current quarter shown on your chart is? Maybe nothing, but there is apparently a new outbreak of something strong in China.
What is the mysterious pneumonia outbreak in China?
The WHO has asked China for more information on the undiagnosed pneumonia outbreak that has spiked since October.
Here in COMO there is something strong working its way through the schools. Comes with a serious cough that can last a long time. Marta caught it and is being treated for pneumonia. I have not come down with anything.

Me and my son had it. I kinda thought it was the covid at first but it's something new. Don't catch it or else you can pencil off a fraction of your year, it doesn't go away for weeks or months. Probably some new invention cooked up in a US funded lab. Ukrainian this time?
