Interesting and well researched opinion article, as far as it goes. But, it fails to touch on the negative aspects of mask wearing; obscured vision, inability to see faces, garbling of words, and most importantly, the negative impacts on child development. Perhaps a cost/benefit analysis next time? Also note that the only masks that truly work, even a little, are N-95 type masks. Most people don't wear them properly, or change them often enough, reducing their efficacy. I would argue that mask wearing did little to mitigate the plague, and resulted in a lot of harm, not the least of which was to create another subset of competing groups yelling "tastes great--less filling" at each other. There's enough of that already.

ND didn't have mask mandate. When Minn put out mask mandate, Minn Covid19 cases rose dramatically as ND cases dropped. Meta data

Buyers Remorse?
Far and away the most common question I get from those who took one of the COVID-19 vaccines is: “how do I get this out of my body.”

According to this paper, a second COVID infection is equally likely to result in death as the first. This seems to be counter to the notion that a prior infection improves your immunity system.
I think there might be an explanation. A COVID infection does improve your immunity, but mRNA vaccines damage your immunity system. And the 2 effects offset.
If the above explanation is true, should you get a booster?
A booster supposedly reduces your chance of infection so even if the immunity system is blunted, the fact that you have less infections could mean it’s worthwhile. However, if each new vaccine dose further weakens your immune system, then you would likely get to the point that another vaccine dose is bad from the death standpoint.
Moreover, if your immune system is weakened, does that mean you are more susceptible to death from causes other than COVID? There is an indication that the excess death rate is high. This should be discussed by the experts but that is not permitted by those in control.
So I’m not taking boosters. If others take boosters that will be positive for me since it will reduce the amount of COVID cases which I am exposed to.
Right now, I'm liking the Chinese approach. They have developed non-mRNA vaccines (weakened COVID viruses) which are over 80% effective. These should reduce your exposure while improving your immune system's ability to battle the virus. If you are an anti-vaxer, this won't be the answer. But if you are just an anti-mRNA vacciner, then this might be a good thing. If you are anti-Chinese, this might not be your cup of tea.

That's interesting about the tru-vax, but I'm opting out of everything. I'm not responding when they hit the fear button. This lab monkey broke out of his cage.
