How many times have public-health experts told us that Covid isn’t like the flu? Suddenly that’s changed. The Food and Drug Administration last week proposed treating the virus just like the flu when it comes to recommending annual vaccines.

There’s a glaring problem with this strategy: Covid isn’t seasonal. This virus has shown a remarkable ability to transmit year-round, with waves of infection occurring during summer as well as winter. The mRNA vaccines boost protection against infection for a few months at best. A booster during the fall therefore may reduce your odds of getting sick for a few months—though your protection depends on your immune response to the particular variants circulating. But as antibodies wane during the winter, you’ll become susceptible again.

We are well armed Non.  So your Bolt hole is safe.  Just pick the right State (pun intended).  Bring lawyers, guns (in stock here) and money.  Who were Adolf's and Joseph's ministers of health?  This guy would fit right in.  Kiwi's really put up with this?  I had always thought that y'all were a stout, hardy and freedom-loving lot.  What happened?  I'm taking notes for comparison.  Still rooting for ya though.  I've always wanted to visit New Zealand, but haven't made it yet.  Wondering though if I'd be welcome unless I kept my mouth shut.  THAT is a real effort.

I have decided that I will not remain silent within NZ at really any level. However my wife has the right to partition subjects from certain dinner parties but I do insist that we run mixed belief gathering as such I don't have to instigate the debates myself.

The mood is changing here and the woke climate bed wetters are looking a little badgered and weary.

Re Australia a good friend comes tonight for a few days fishing, he is resident in Sydney has major business interests in NZ currently exporting rare earth ore plus Garnets. they are mine from the same sands but his big stuff is in in the Cape York region of northern QLD so has a residence in Palm Cove up by Cairns he is trying to get me up there for half the year its cheap and warm.

Keep in mind under 40 includes those with pre-existing conditions. If you were to break it down across sex and age without pre-existing conditions, there would be a greater disparity.
