"Nothingburger" or shows the depth and arrogance of the deep state? In my view, it doesn't really matter, because I am 99% certain this will be down the memory hole in a week or less. I do find some of the progressive attitudes interesting though. Basically, "so we lied, about the nefarious attempt at a coup, but didn't break the law, so too bad for you." I wonder if they teach their kids that lesson.

I'll bet 90% of voters don't know what was FINALLY released yesterday and even if they managed to hear or read about it, have no idea how damning it is of the cabal we all are paying for.

I mean Biden admitted right on camera to a major, corrupt act, and nothing happened. Isn't this an illegal pedaling of political position? Political bribery for the benefit of his own family? Not to hijack the thread. fb.watch/kzrjpkpg_G/

Jonathan Turley: jonathanturley.org/2023/05/16/raw-unanalyzed-and-uncorroborated-durham-releases-report-on-the-russian-collusion-investigation/#more-204967"The FBI issued a statement on Monday: “The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time. Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented. This report reinforces the importance of ensuring the FBI continues to do its work with the rigor, objectivity, and professionalism the American people deserve and rightly expect.” “Missteps” is hardly how one would describe a false narrative promulgated by a campaign and perpetuated by the FBI or the derailing of a duly elected president for three years in a faux conspiracy. The statement is ample evidence of a lack of remorse by the FBI like a habitual offender giving a shrug in his court “allocution” before a judge.
As for the media, they are already minimizing and spinning their own key role in this disinformation campaign. Yesterday, as I went to the studio, I listened to CBS/WTOP cover the report in 20 words before a lengthy report on Martha Stewart making the cover of Sports Illustrated. Most viewers and readers will be given few details of this report by a media that spent three years pushing this false narrative. It is part of a long pattern that raises troubling questions of a de facto state media in this country."

It’s not an unprecedented purge for a banana republic though.

I do find some of the progressive attitudes interesting though. Basically, "so we lied, about the nefarious attempt at a coup, but didn't break the law, so too bad for you." I wonder if they teach their kids that lesson. Of course they do. It is inherent in "the breed" of men who fancy themselves the Protectors of ideals "better" than the old republic. A new Aristocracy (very old actually), or just good, old-fashioned crooks whose images festoon history. And so, on the point of such swords, they intend to ravish all others with the gumption to raise their voices in opposition to the new oligarchs and their attendant vultures. A few of those who wish to own the Nation might have the talent to write a composition like the following. But you would never hear it performed in public because it comes too close to reflecting an ugliness to the masses. Too many might notice. Personal corruption is very, very old ... and its smell / taste does not improve with age. History is as complicated as climate ... but more personal. Scoundrels avoid a battlefield like the plague. They send their minions for such work. And while some might disagree with the motive, or character of men in different places and different times ... how different are those who fought to defend "whatever" at Bakhmut ... from those who stood shoulder-to-shoulder at Bunker Hill? If all men were saints ...
