So now that Trump is a convicted felon, does that mean the Left needs to idolize him?
Or is that only for violent offenders?

The DFW terraforming feels like it reaches well up into Oklahoma now. You get Metroplex vibes on the south side of the town of Atoka.

The major value divide in the US is urban culture vs rural culture. Cities dominate because that’s where the numbers are and the rural population is not unified.

I have a son who lives in Denton, Tx., 40 miles from Dealey Plaza where JFK met his maker. The 40 mile drive is bumper to bumper 12 hours a day. Driving on I-35 north of Dallas makes grown men weep. Of course, you can say the same for the Katy Freeway in Houston (I-10 west of downtown). I swear it is 16 lanes wide in some places.

I'm glad I got to see some of the world before Facebook and smartphones spread American values all over the place. I thought that Australia in 1985 still seemed pretty authentic. I hitchhiked all up and down the east coast, slept on the beaches mainly, and had a blast. (Not that Australia was a backwards place, it wasn't).
