Bill de Blasio, a Marxist, destroyed NYC and Adams isn’t capable of turning it around. The electorate is too stupid to elect someone with the balls to reverse course.

So how long till the City literally falls apart? Hoping someone will step up and show the other big urban failures how it's done. I suspect that NYC is, short of a wider collapse, 'too big to fail'.
A lot of people will leave (spreading the malaise elsewhere, but relieving some of the pressure on the city). Some plans that probably won't work in the long term and cost far more than their benefit will be implemented (at the expense of the rest of the state and country). A few actual good ideas will probably be implemented (in spite of vocal minorities who will insist they are racist/sexist/will-kill-us-all-from-global-warming/etc.). A lot of people will adapt to being a permanent underclass, with working and living conditions not much improved from the tenements and sweatshops of two centuries ago (yes there are already sweatshops in NYC, but I don't believe they've regressed quite that far yet).
Things can go on like that for a LONG time when you've got a system with as much momentum as NYC. Remember also that while the various financial institutions of NYC probably don't pay anything close to their fair share in taxes, the *absolute* amount they pay is still significant - enough to 'buy' the real productivity of the 'red' parts of New York State.

Oh be still my beating heart! Is Climate Justice in the opening phase of "getting justice"? The public at large may not be glued to each second's visual imagery, but they are getting an increasingly personal view of being stretched out over an ideological economic barrel and raped. I suspect that some previously marginal ideological "leaners" may not be voting for the current MIC. What price will Climate Justice's Waffen SS be forced to pay?

If I did that they would put me in Jail. I don't think there is anything confusing there. Only thing confusing is ... why can THEY get away with it? Are we stupid ... or what?
