"When I took office, I committed to fixing this broken immigration system. And I began by doing what I could to secure our borders. Today, we have more agents and technology deployed to secure our southern border than at any time in our history. And over the past six years, illegal border crossings have been cut by more than half." — President Obama, November 20, 2014

What first amendment? Crowd Cheers and Laughs When Trump Threatens Journalists With Prison Rape The crowd reveled in Trump's sick idea to bully members of the press into revealing their sources "our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost." Thomas Jefferson to Dr. James Currie, January 28, 1786 Freedom of Speech The people are the only censors of their governors: and even their errors will tend to keep these to the true principles of their institution. To punish these errors too severely would be to suppress the only safeguard of the public liberty. The way to prevent these irregular interpositions of the people is to give them full information of their affairs thro’ the channel of the public papers, & to contrive that those papers should penetrate the whole mass of the people. The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers & be capable of reading them. ...Thomas Jefferson Just wondering? If Trump won re-election, would he shut down this site if he didn't like what one of us said?

Next up for us will be “Joe Biden’s” attempt to complete the bankruptcy of our country with $7.3-trillion proposed budget, 20 percent over the previous years spending, based on a $5-trillion tax increase. Good luck making that work. New York City alone is faced with paying $387 a day for food and shelter for each of an estimated 64,800 illegal immigrants, which amounts to $9.15-billion a year. The money doesn’t exist, of course. New York can thank “Joe Biden’s” executive agencies for sticking them with this unbearable burden. It will be the end of New York City. There will be no money left for public services or cultural institutions. That’s the reality and that’s the truth. kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/consequences-minus-truth/

Thank goodness......I am so relieved. I thought he was running to be president.
Look how much he struggles to squint and read the teleprompter, only to read it wrong. This is elder abuse.

Reagan Would Never Vote for TrumpHe also didn’t care much for Biden. Like me, he’d be looking for a strong third-party candidate to support. By John Lehman: Mr. Lehman served as Navy secretary, 1981-87. March 17, 2024 4:12 pm ET Reagan’s 11th Commandment was “Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican,” but Donald Trump is no heir to Reagan’s legacy. He is an insult to it. The Reagan I knew would be appalled that someone as unfit as Mr. Trump had become the GOP’s standard-bearer.

Thank goodness......I am so relieved. I thought he was running to be president.Trump is older, just saying Biden was born November 20th, 1942. Trump was born June 14th, 1946. Biden is currently 81 years old. Trump is currently 77 years old. Biden is older than Trump. Additionally, people age mentally at different rates. While we lose our neuroplasticity as we age, there are real concerns about Biden having cognitive impairment.

But Biden isn't really running the Country. THEY just give him another ice cream (plus 10 percent) and he says ... signs whatever. It is the cognitive morality and competence of the THEY that concern me.
