The link above points out a significant flaw in the US system of governance. The judicial system can be manipulated to the advantage of a group of elitists who seek power and wealth.
There is nothing in the system that assures the laws will be followed. Any judge or jury can arrive at any decision they personally like, regardless of the law. Appeals are possible, but then other judges can make whatever decision they may prefer. Impeachments are possible, but a supermajority requirement means a minority is in control. And a group of elitists can control the minority. And it doesn’t assure that laws will be followed.
Law-abiding people can be stripped of their money, their power, and their personal freedom at the whim of a group of elitists who effectively control the system.
I once thought of people who said things like I just did as conspiracy theorists. But now I consider them realists.
The Chinese leaders are the ones who treat their constituents very unfairly?

The founders were attempting to prevent the tyranny of the majority while giving the less populous states a voice. Those who call for the abolishment of the electoral college are enemies of the Constitution. The 17th Amendment was a stepping stone for them and it’s repeal would be a welcome miracle.

Well, elections are SUPPOSED to be the counting of heads. What they really count is ballots. As we've seen, there can be a critical difference there.

Now, with the new immigrant influx, there will be more heads and ballots to count. I'm sure that is what Brandon had in mind.
