Just had a thought - might Haley be staying in the race in the hope that Trump DOES get legally disqualified? Maybe she DOES know she can't beat him, but figures there's enough of a chance she won't have to?
We could see an election where *NEITHER* party's primary candidate is in the general election.

I think that the weaponisation of the FBI and the Justice system against Trump is terrible for democracy in the US.
I think the Democrats will also come to regret it, and history will treat them harshly.

I think the Democrats will also come to regret it, and history will treat them harshly. I could not agree more. Nobody deserves the full scrutiny of the judicial system hurled at them as a weapon. It's crystal clear that they are going after Trump with anything that will stick from his taxes, business dealings just about everything both civil and criminal. |
