When Birds Screw Up
This morning I was sitting in my dining room perusing the news ... when I heard a "loud thump". I immediately looked out the sliding glass door onto the deck and observed a female cardinal lying flat on her back, legs twitching. Fortunately, she rolled over onto her feet after a few minutes. Then she sat there for a long time before finally flying off. Hoping for a good outcome as I don't see her anywhere now. I keep black sunflower seeds on the deck. Birds love them ... as do squirrels.
