Ancel Keys was a complete fraud in the style of many later entrants of the field of science we now enjoy.
The entire game of replacing Saturated fats with poly unsaturated fats has likely killed more people than all wars in the last 100 years.
The food pyramid was a construct to assist grain sales and vegetable oils are potentially the cause of the cancer epidemic we now endure.
Grass fed marbled steak is health food and not one single paper can be found that supports vegetarianism as a healthy lifestyle.

We get the cats ... not the crocs. Here, cat chow is yappy little dogs. A few years ago my wife and I saw a large-ish mountain lion cross a dirt road, probably 30 yards in front of us. We got a pretty good look at it but I still couldn't believe my eyes. 2 hops then a big jump over the fence and he was gone. Long loopy tail, heavy shoulders. That was fairly close to Eufaula OK. |

They've been migrating down the Missouri and its tributaries for years. A cousin saw one wandering down our own little Silver Fork north of town by the farm some years ago. They'e here. Marta claims she saw a VERY large cat on our urban trail a couple of years ago. On the greenway right in the middle of town. |
