Get ready it's coming for us. The true Mid-Western La Nina winter? Like 2010-11?

I don't know how this winter will play out. But I do know this. Joe Bastardi and both Farmers Almanac's will forecast a cold winter. It never fails every year. I think most people yearn for a colder, snowy winter. So Joe and the Almanac's play to the audience. Mild and balmy conditions don't get clicks online, so COLD it is... In perpetuity. I will forecast a much colder winter than normal for Europe. Normally they have heat and electricity. This year maybe not.

Some others here are smack in it.

Indoor temperatures are set to plunge.

I'm not a fan of the Almanac, more of a fan of the Old Farmers Almanac because the latter takes into consideration the mountain of the Pacific Coast range and if you live in Washington you know the weather in Western WA is different from Eastern WA.

I have not kept screenshots from null.school. So my memory is subject to failure. But I ask. Are the jet stream strength and longitudinal undulations starting to look a little like winter?
