He's (they) are really not so far away. Then the Lords of the New World Order will not need us any more.

He's (they) are really not so far away. Then the Lords of the New World Order will not need us any more. I've been playing around with Chat GPT some. (Skynet v. 1.0112)
Left leaning bias, yet almost fair. I think I got it to equivocate and re-state it's case during my cross examination. Fascinating for sure. I do not think that it is just a library of responses, 'she' appears to be "thinking".

(1) during RL training, there’s currently no source of truth; How long before Hal/Karen create His/Her own?

I would say that OpenAI is being perhaps falsely modest in their understated description of their invention on their main website page. That "thing" is impressive.
--------------------------- ChatGPT: Optimizing Language Models for Dialogue We’ve trained a model called ChatGPT which interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. ChatGPT is a sibling model to InstructGPT, which is trained to follow an instruction in a prompt and provide a detailed response.

You've all heard this before, I presume .... An elderly British gentleman arrived in Paris by plane. At the French immigration desk, the man took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry-on bag. "You have been to France before, Monsieur?" the Immigration officer asked, sarcastically. The elderly gentleman admitted he had been to France previously. "Then you should know well enough to have your passport ready." The British gentleman says, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it." "Impossible. The British always have to show their passports on arrival in France!" The elderly gentleman gave the French Immigration Officer a long hard look. Then he quietly explained: "Well, the last time I was here, I came ashore on Juno Beach on D-Day in June 1944, and I couldn't find any f**king Frenchmen to show it to."

I've tattooed my entire body and removed by ears, nostrils and fingers to look like a 'black alien' - and now restaurants won't serve me

Whatever happened to inclusion, diversity and equality?

My squirrels are offended ... but there IS a duck in the neighborhood. Must be difficult for you to tell them apart?
