First they came for the machine guns... NY is now “technically” a “Shall Issue” state for a handgun carry license. The “governor” and her enablers have effectively nullified that by declaring virtually every public space one can imagine as a gun free zone. These morons simply cannot process within their clouded minds that laws only apply to the law abiding. Criminals and lunatics have no regard for their stupid laws and are in fact further enabled by them. |

Seems Clear Enough To Me! Any doubt that OUR Powers That Be would really, really like to do the same?
The message is, “We, The Powers That Be, are done playing grab-ass. Get in line. What do we do?…asking for a friend 😳 I don't know if you are including the boomers as one of the last 2 generations, but those old guys (I'm kinda one DOB 1964) seem to me to be the most reflexively compliant, network news watching sort of vaccine taking pincushions out there. They got a big dose of post ww2 programming and they have never really yet challenged it, or any oppressive authority forces in their lives. DB Cooper might have been an exception, there are a couple of others. I think that I have been noticing something like a healthy skepticism /cynicism, general doubting of authority in many of the younger people lately. |

I wasn’t including “boomers” but you’re not wrong Walnut. I do think there’s a huge divide within the boomers that is far less obvious in the “millennials” and “gen z” demographics.

In Fourth Turning Theory, the "Prophet" generation (the Boomers) are the first generation born after a crisis (WWII). They and their children (Generation X) may develop a schizoid split based on (misguided) ideology that results in another crisis sometime during the Fourth generation of the "four-season" cycle ... currently Generation Z. If we survive with acceptable(?) casualties, and a largely intact industrial plant, the disillusioned survivors will have another go at the ring. "Woke" is about to get its eyes closed. While we may hope otherwise, all signs seem to point to another Fourth Turning. Perhaps I should skip that early summer Istanbul stopover.

They cannot be eliminated without a bloody civil war that razes our political civilization to the ground. No President or party can change them. No Court can invalidate them. They are installed as "God Given" ... whether you believe in God or not. You can ignore them, but they will follow you down the road like a faithful dog waiting to be recognized as truth. You can shoot the dog ... but he will be reincarnated even as you pull the trigger.
So as to the original message ... You will NOT do whatever you fucking want. Because, where ever you turn, you are messing with turf that is ours. By ordination of the people and God himself. it does not matter if you kill those of US in front ... as there are many more behind. Both now and at a later date. Careful with that grab-ass ... as that which you grab may be your own bloody behind.
