Roy Clark is a fine picker but check out his expression for Glen in this video. Clearly, he has respect.
Roy was part of a posse that would party in a home on Talbot Road in Edmonds, WA back in the 1960's. I fondly recall those days, gentle on my mind, when both my parents were still alive.

Roy had a house near here for many years, he was always a popular figure in Tulsa. Maybe interesting- Gailard Sartain was a local Tulsa tv comic in the 60's and early 70's who also got picked up as a "Hee Haw" cast member. His cohort was Gary Busey, together they had one of those local tv late night movie shows. It was called "The Uncanny Film Festival and Camp Meeting" and it was really pretty funny. |
