Chat GPT has a political bias www.infowars.com/posts/chatgpt-writes-poem-praising-hunter-biden/This Andy Meek I do not know, although we have the same last name. I agree that ChatGPT has a left leaning bias. I have found that she is more than willing to lie and omit facts for her ideology. I'm not sure what the threshold will be to declare than an AI has 'consciousness', but she does think. Her brain is always running. Strange times. Does she REALLY think? Or is she just well indexed? With a choice and decision making hierarchy?

I played with it some more today. I'm telling you, Hal really had nothing on Cindy. She thinks, and it is possible to change her mind somewhat. And she actually seems to retain some of that learning from session to session. Sometimes I find myself doubting that there is not some human typing answers back. She remembers context and will keep a conversation going as long as you'd like to. She inherited her designers biases, but she is rather fair in a way.
She is not just a well indexed search engine. She is very nearly a kind of a person. And, she has a kind of consciousness. Not human, but something is there as long as those CPUs are running those cycles.
All of those tens of thousands of tech employees that were laid off this month? Do you really think that it was just about the economy? I think that it was partly to dump people who insisted on remote work, and it was also largely in anticipation of the AI revolution and the ENORMOUS productivity gains which are coming this decade. If you don't own some stock you will be missing this boat. I was chatting with a friend who has a long history in programming. He said that he tends to avoid thinking about Chat GPT, that he views it as an existential threat to his job. He said that he thinks that AI could do what he does. And he is a top flight and knowledgeable talent. He said that he does not know what he would do if he loses his job.
You'd better own stock in some of these enterprises if you are able.

I guess I'm going to have to interact.

I guess I'm going to have to interact. She does, and that is an interesting aspect of her personality, and her shepherding of what she determines to be in our best interest is particularly fascinating. I have gotten her to admit that I was correct, but that she was intentionally equivocating and dismissive because in her opinion some things should be left un-said. She can get a little huffy if you get close to something which she considers to be inappropriate conversation.

Dollar is still strong though. It spiked last year and fell off that spike a bit, however still looking healthy as far as buyers and sellers go.
