I know there is much that we here on our blue planet do not know but:
The distances to another potential life sustaining planet are almost beyond comprehension.
Worm holes would need to exist and be controlled.
If these advanced aliens exist, why do they crash once they arrive?
Time travelers choosing this moment in history should have better things to do!

Think about the chances of life springing from bare rock, and then evolving into animals which can engineer and fly spaceships which can defy the rules of time and space to get across part of the galaxy. Maybe it happens somewhere in the infinite universe, but it is certainly not going to be "common". extremely, extremely rare. We won the lottery on earth, and we assume others must have won the lottery, too. Likely, no, nothing else out there near enough to be real to us. Yet, the news about UFOs has been fascinating lately.

The guy (about my age) who has cut my hair since about 1969 (minus the years I was working elsewhere) has been studying such phenomena ... just because he's interested ... and because he has had several occurrences himself. He is a logical, down-to-earth Missouri boy. I'm genuinely curious, Mr. Moboy. What did his interactions involve? I must revisit him on these conversations. I remember him talking of unexplained (in his experience) low-level aerial observations back in the 1960s-70s. No face-to-face encounters or trips around the universe. Personally, I have never had any such experiences.

Yet, the news about UFOs has been fascinating lately. Our moon is an indispensable ingredient to life here. The moon’s size and position has a vital interaction with Earth. The somewhat nonsensical calculation for the number of life sustaining planets in the universe doesn’t consider the odds for a binary planet system perfectly distanced from a benevolent star.

Time travelers choosing this moment in history should have better things to do! why do they crash ... could be anything .. why do our planes crash ? coming into earths atmosphere from space with a different atmosphere in the ship ?? or even metal fatigue after a long journey at light speed or beyond and i'm sure flying (even though i haven't as yet) thru a worm hole will have some difficulty's .. with all the galaxy's and all the stars that are in them billions x billions i'm very sure we are not alone or what would be the point ? we think we are that brilliant and smart yet we can't control any thing and still have wars. people starve die of disease ..and to top it off we still use money would you not be interested to see where this backward life form ends up ?? i sure would ..

A person who lives near us in our Arizona winter home has a large telescope which he bought for the following reason.
When he lived in California he along with his neighbors observed a large disc-shaped stationary object in the sky. They called the police who also observed the object and contacted their headquarters who then contacted the air base nearby. He could hear the police-airbase discussions over the police radio.
The airbase sent 2 planes up to observe the disc from above. They said they were circling above and they had no explanation for what it might be. They then decided to fly down closer for a view. As they got near to the object, it suddenly took off at a rate of speed faster than the planes could achieve.
There is no explanation for what the object was.
My Arizona neighbor bought the telescope so he can get a close-up view if he ever encounters anything similar in the future.

I was on a shooting trip, late 70s or early 80s, around Ebor in NSW, clearing out some unwanted varmints and witnessed a UFO.
I was the shooter while the owner of the property, Nigel, was the spotlighter and he saw an unusual bright light.
First Sighting: Above horizon, thirty degrees above horizon in X direction. Second " : Above horizon, thirty degrees above horizon in Y direction. Third " : Above horizon, thirty degrees above horizon in Z direction. ... etc
Nigel knew the area and knew that the light was in different a different place each time. The light was constant. Imagine the brightest version of Venus that you have seen, make it round, and place it thirty degrees above the horizon in the space of a couple of hours at various positions.
Strange. Being recently ex-RAAF, I submitted a detailed UFO report. Never heard a thing but didn't really expect to. Had there been an explanation, they may have replied?

Robert Temple has a different perspective on this in his latest book, 'A New Science of Heaven'. He has been friends with Nobel laureates and innovative thinkers including Fred Hoyle, Paul Dirac (with whom he had afternoon tea in his rooms when he was eighteen years old) and many others I had never heard of. The book is challenging and thought-provoking. The book traces the history of plasma studies, through the twentieth century and up to now. It starts with the recent confirmation of the existence of two large plasma clouds at Lagrange points L4 and L5, between the Earth and the Moon. He goes on to explore the possibility that these clouds are self-organising and meet the criteria for intelligence. He points out that as condensed, organic life on a condensed, rocky planet we are the exception rather than the rule in the universe, which is 99.9% composed of plasma. He devotes one chapter to ball lightning, which has been observed to act intelligently - passing down the aisles of passenger aircraft, for example. He proposes that these are balls of plasma, intelligent drones sent out as scouts. I found the book hard to follow but well worth the effort. www.robert-temple.com/
