This could get interesting. The Israelis are not known for bluffing. Maybe GWB should have sub-contracted Afghanistan out to the Israelis? The Israelis have more sense than we do.

They would have used an air based containment strategy.
Look at the frustration that Iran has with deploying its strategy.

Me thinks there be little honor amongst the named characters, but let me be proved wrong. I expect a lot of whining about unfairness and discrimination ... but nothing about personal responsibility.

please lets not have another round of impeachment.
The impeachment process that was taken against Clinton and Trump was bad for the parties not the President.
Clinton won in spite of silly lies etc. Trump I think did better than the count displayed can I leave it there.
The midterms are the focus and if I was a thinking Democrat and I had the party in mind loosing the House or Congress or both allows an excuse for poor Presidential performance. Biden is very poor so is deputy and the polls show that both sides see this reality.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT SPACE WEAPON UNVEIL? I didn't hear about any thing or place vaporizing. Exclusive: Pentagon Poised To Unveil, Demonstrate Classified Space Weapon The push to declassify an existing space weapon is being spearheaded by Gen. John Hyten, the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. By Theresa Hitchens on August 20, 2021 at 1:44 PM
I personally hope the program is not revealed. If you have ever been around someone who pulls out a hand gun and tells you how tough it makes them you understand how I feel.
Me thinks it smells a little like desperation after how bad POTUS & the boys made us look.

please lets not have another round of impeachment. While I despise the Sock Puppet, I agree.
There does not seem to be sufficient evidence to gain a conviction for his various sexual crimes, and I'm honestly not convinced he knows the election was rigged. While some aspects of the pull out from Afghanistan could meet the definition of treason (I'm thinking specifically of all the equipment we left the Taliban), it would be hard to prove he did it intentionally - in fact a really impartial jury would probably have to accept an insanity defense for ANYTHING he does at this point. So he can't be convicted of "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." Impeachment is out.
No, to remove the Sock Puppet legally we need the 25th Amendment, section 4. Pretty easy to show he's "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" when he doesn't even know what he's signing...
...which would put Harris in charge. Joy.
Any bets on who we'll get as VP when the time comes?

For whenever the office of vice president becomes vacant. Those circumstances are provided for in the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, which was passed in 1967. Section 2 states: "Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress." Minor problem. In this case there would be no vice president to break ties in the Senate.

I've come to the conclusion that nothing happens as long as the media stays quiet. Congress will do nothing and this "president's" cabinet is certainly not going to invoke the 25th amendment. If the media at large decided to get rid of Biden it would happen very quickly. The public doesn't trust the media for good reason. The media have morphed into the leading voice of the political class and Biden is serving their purpose.

Yep. Taiwan is China's for the taking. There will be lots of hand waving, sanctions etc.
Who would sanctions really hurt? What will the sanctions be?
It is all a matter of timing for the Chinese. They KNOW the rest of the world relies on their manufacturing base, being we have shifted so many Essential items there.
They know this, we know this.
