Looks like Putin is tightening the noose on Europe and keeping them from storing enough gas to get them through the winter. Note to Euro's, If you are going to use the economy and sanctions as military weapons you better be ready for the counter offensive. The Ruble is as strong as it has been in years and natural gas storage is as low as it's been in years for Europe. Occasionally (like every four generations if you subscribe to Fourth Turning Theory) it may be necessary in order to reset societal (generational) fundamentals that get out-of-whack every four generations (or so). And we Boomers that grew up in the re-emerging prosperity shadows of the Great Depression and the 2nd World War are the ones who have set the course for this 4th Turning, which another Hero generation will have to fight. Hoping we get out of this with just a depression, and NOT a full-blown apocalypse.
Just ran across this ... Apocalypses are so personal.
