And the 2018 article linked in the above. andymaypetrophysicist.com/2018/09/19/how-constant-is-the-solar-constant/And where are the ghost ponies ... the shadowy but emerging images of a sun across all of its electromagnetic continuum? As presented by Ben Davidson on Suspicious Observers. Childhoods end. Free men do not ask permission to use their brains. Honest men understand that they may never get the recipe totally right, but may get close enough to ride the pony. Zeus will not be pleased. But Major Kong would understand.

Multiple different sources now appear to be forecasting a longish period of solar inactivity. The possible depth of this new minimum is unknown.
The earth's magnetic field is weakening rapidly.
These factors might suggest [c.f.Svensmark, that cosmic ray bombardment will increase.
Immediate results might be:
Increasing cloudiness: More clouds equates to a cooler planet, and probably more "rainfall events". [Those would seem to be happening]
Increasing risk of major solar disruption of planetary electrical grids: i.e. Another Carrington event lookalike could happen with a much weaker solar flare.
I am busy "hardening" my home electronics with multiple UPS devices. I just hope they work.

Does anyone have a link to papers describing link between low solar and blocking patterns?
Used to be able to find them with a Google search but not anymore 🤷🏼♂️

How would a strong earthbound cme/ solar flare effect solar power either on a commercial scale or domestic supply on a roof baring in mind our weak magnetic field at the moment. I know it could knock out an electric grid but could it cause damage to a solar panel system on our roof?

I believe transformers and semi-conductors in a completed, un-shielded circuit are all at risk to a solar EMP.

Does a Faraday cage work on such events.
The reason for this comment is that NZ has a solid history of earthquakes and in the name of equality even though I do not live in an earthquake zone my concrete house is a Faraday cage (steel everywhere) wifi every floor etc.
what is a Carrington hardened residence?
