I've been paying attention to the SuspiciousObservers YouTube channel for quite some time. I've been following this site (or the old site) for quite a while and find you all quite bright and level headed. What are you're thoughts on the 90 degree tilt, the timeframe etc? Do you all feel this is a legitimate threat? I apologize if this a stupid question or topic.

I am assuming your question is with regard to the 23.5 degree tilt of the Earth's axis to the ecliptic changing to 90 degrees. If so, I do not believe that is a legitimate threat. I am however extremely concerned about a seemingly inexorable tilt to the LEFT! BTW, feel free to join the forum. We're a congenial and polite group with a good dose of humor.

Happen Pole shifts happen and the Earth is most likely in the process of doing it as we speak. Humans have witnessed pole reversals in the past but they were a much tougher version of human.

So the cataclysmic event is not likely in our lifetime, but a weaker magnetic field does make us susceptible for a Carrington Event ala strong CME and so a wise and levelheaded approach to preparation may be wise.

Our technology dependent lifestyle was developed in the presence of a relatively stable field. The accelerated meandering is certainly an issue for navigation. The weakening field can have a detrimental effect on life. If the magnetic field decreases to zero and lingers there for an extended period, that will probably be bad for us. If you rely on technology, a Carrington Level event will be bad now. Living is dangerous! Welcome!

There was an older article I read the other day (I lost it) presenting its opinion on how long it "might" take for the US to recover from a direct hit by an event equivalent to the Carrington Event. For what it's worth, denser areas of the grid (such as the NE) could take 2-3 years to re-establish. Perhaps there are some serious engineering articles on such.

Replacing fried transformers takes a long time...especially if replacements don't exist! Satellites take a long time to replace too. I conserve ammo for a reason Mo'boy.

But the real panic will be when the sheeple can't get on Crapbook to check how many "Likes" they got. As far as preparation goes, I think it's been subcontracted out to the Miami Building Inspectors!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. The topics discussed here tend to reside above my 'pay grade' but I enjoy all your insight. If possible I'll try to contribute.

These topicss are really above all our pay grades. But if we keep chipping away at it, we may yet get to view enough of the mountain to deceifer its essential nature. Then the engineers will have a go at it. While the boys of Mann will buy an overpriced decrepit condo in Miami and wait for enlightenment.
