Here is a man, his dogs and a message .... just wish I could understand all of it: One comment: This is not an anthem for America. It's an anthem for the current working class worldwide.
Is it right? What does working class mean today, basically? I often come home tired and dirty. I only see the welfare zombies in the large cities, and it's scarier than a carnival freak show. Which is exactly why it shot through the stratosphere, and is breaking records everywhere. There's a crowd a-coming to that place north of Richmond. And they won't be on a tour.

I reckon you just don't undastan Southern Ratty. But it is an anthem.

He speaks the truth. Good old-fashioned Appalachian music ... straight from the old Celtic countries. The Wail of Wales. The Welsh kinda know how to suffer in song.

I'm thinking that it is difficult to write a stirring social /political anthem that sounds any better, so I'm ok with it. It's not bad, but I wouldn't reach for it myself.

My ancestors would have been from the Northern England - Southern Scotland area. I should educate myself on the area music I suppose.

I'm not a church going man, but I do, sometimes, believe in a God.

Wonder what they taste like? No first hand experience but ... Aborigines have used goannas for food and medical purposes for centuries, especially those aborigines living in arid areas. Much like kangaroo meat, goanna meat was a staple food for the Aboriginal people. The goanna lizards are traditionally cooked whole on hot coals, and their white meat is known for its oily texture and chicken-like taste.
