I do hope there is some truth in this ... As an eco-warrior, he would not survive first contact with the opposing shield wall. Go home old dude. Write your memoirs.

Jesus H. J. Christ, Jr. These people should be sent into the wilderness to fend for themselves for a month or two. Let's see if they still suffer from misgendering and "sensory overload." I repeat; Jesus H.J. Christ, Jr.

Archaeologists find a 3,000-year-old sword so well preserved it’s still gleaming
The Tech Gods of the Bronze Age used technology which advanced from this: Archaeologists Just Uncovered the World's First Furnace from 6,500 Years Ago
Whether first or not, Indo-europeans have been uncovered mining copper in the Alps from 4500 BC. Carpathian mines are supposedly a couple of thousand years earlier. Imagine the application of bronze to a horse and cattle based society taking off to conquer the New World of their time (Western Europe). They also built boats and melted/forged metal from mountains. They were techie rock stars of their time. And their farm-based forging carried across the American midwest of 100+ years ago. My grandfather was a farmer/smith. Had his own on-farm operation. Iron by then.
The Copper Age Also known as the Chalcolithic or Eneolithic Period, the Copper Age was a time of diffuse and sporadic use of copper for a limited number of small tools and personal ornaments. If the age is defined simply as the time when copper first began to be used, then localized Copper Age cultures existed in southeastern Europe from the 5th millennium bce. On the other hand, if it is defined as the time when copper was an established element in the material culture, then it must be dated from about 3200 bce in the Carpathian Basin and southeastern Europe, slightly later in the Aegean, and later still in Iberia. In these early copper-using societies, copper had no importance in subsistence production, and the tools made could hardly compete with those of flint and stone. The new material had prestige, however, and was used to adorn the deceased. It was at this early stage of metal use that one of its important roles was established: to mark and articulate social prestige and status. The Copper Age as a distinct stage developed only in a few regions; these included groups in areas as far apart as Bulgaria, Bohemia, the Aegean, and southeastern Spain. www.britannica.com/topic/history-of-Europe/General-characteristics

I was amazed at the work on the arrow points, those look modern, and the hilt on the sword has a Kubotan style bump that can be used for blunt force attacks. Very impressive.
