Vloggers make videos for views. They use information they can find from the western Russian media. Unfortunately, when you are indoctrinated and not given reality, you develop false narratives as truth.
My guess is your vlogger will make a video in several months on why sanctions failed. When you review the economic data at a later point, you will also see the light, or perhaps you just know better than the economic experts and world leaders? Just like you Mr Comrade Trollsky Foot. Did you get called home for re-education? It's so nice to read such unbiased analysis followed by the pot calling the kettle black ... Mann oooh Mann. No matter how this turns out ... and nobody knows for sure ... I won't be expecting any attempt to balance the narrative from you.

Once again Russia's strategy has been to destroy soldiers and equipment. Everything else will be available afterwards. Even western research institutions acknowledge how outnumbered Russia was before the partial mobilization. justme, Hard times for your comrades are coming in 2023... You are more than welcome to continue posting your Ukrainian TV videos, that are funded by the Ukrainian government.  However, I would recommend using neutral sources. If you have been following closely, the majority of Ukrainian news has been propaganda from the start. I will continue to stick with real world economic data and common sense. I live in Texas and have no Russian ethnicity. I simply am a realist, that calls things how I see them. |

More 1/2 truths and made up shit than one can shake a stick at it. Russian oil prices currently at $78.00/barrel. India, China etc buying. Both have bypassed SWIFT and are using Native currency. BRIC countries are learning to trade in native currency. Brazil is selling soybeans and corn to China in yuan. Beef as well. The US is loosing its grip on world finance. |

There are multiple crude oil blends sold by Russia. USA WTI Crude is currently selling for $73.26/bbl. Russian Sokol and EPSO are selling for $73.25 and $71.37 respectively:   oilprice.com/oil-price-charts/#pricesKeep in mind Russia is now selling to other countries in different currencies (not USD). Additionally, Ural crude prices were significantly cheaper in 2015, 2016, half of 2017, and most of 2020. I would also like to point out when governments sign contracts, there is an agreed upon price for a time period. Europe had some of the cheapest natural gas in the world under contract prices. They no longer get any discounts. Could you not ask the same question about Russia several years ago? How can Russia's economy survive by giving big natural gas discounts to Europe? |

I am curious where you think this conflict is going, and how it will end? I have not the slightest idea where it is going or how it will end. The most likely scenario is a negotiated peace settlement that involves land for peace. With the amount of aid coming in from the west, HIMARS, Patriot missile systems, Leopard II tanks and M1 Abrams it will be hard for the Russians to just march through Ukraine. And if they do I see a multi year occupation ending the same way the occupation of Afghanistan ended for both the Russians and the US. When all is said and done and this mess is resolved I can't see it being a win for the Russians. They will have lost all the market share in Europe for their fossil fuels and western economic sanctions will take a toll over time. I think Putin underestimated the resistance from Ukraine. It's clear he thought he would be welcomed as a liberator and his troops would be marching through Kiev in a matter of weeks. |
