Crimea water supply map. Why would you blow up your major Crimean water supply if you intended to stay? Assuming Russians are source of kaboom.

Peter Ziehan had a short video on why Ukraine may try to blow the dam to starve Crimea from water. The hacking of the TV station and now this make me think that the spring offensive may target Crimea. The Ukraine flag flying over Crimea would be the victory Zelensky needs to appease his allies and insure continued funding. Russia has built up massive reserves in Crimea so this just may be smoke and mirrors for the spring offensive to take territory back elsewhere.

Russians have blown the dam at Nova Kakhovka. Ukraine blew the dam. Supplies fresh water to Crimea. There's more to it then that Sig. The dam was the last means of crossing the Dnipro for many many miles as all the bridges are gone. The amount of explosive required to collapse the dam is pretty significant, do we know for sure that anything Ukraine has in it's arsenal is up to the job? Or were quantities of placed explosives needed? Ukraine North of the dnipro also relied on the dam for irrigation/water supply, so if the Ukrainians did it its as much of an own goal.

look at it this way unless they build a bridge there will be no fighting down stream from the dam .. so now russia has less area to defend ..simple tactics .. we can see from this russia are trying to push ukraine into attacking them else where .. which means there running out of men and ammo ..

The battle for northern France continued for 2+ bloody months ... culminating in the Battle of the Falaise Pocket, where elements of the German army were surrounded and annihilated in mid-late August. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falaise_pocket
